Valentines Day is just around the corner, and almost all poets can pull a valentine poem outa there...erm hats. Valentine "Produce" poetry!

Tomatoes are red, and grapes, they are blue,
I am wanting to say how I feel about you.
Cucumbers green and summer squash yellow,
you`ve made a happy person outta this fellow.

Zuccini and broccoli also are green,
and egg plant has a color all of it`s own.
I`m trying to tell you dear what your love means,
a love already strong, but oh, how it`s grown.

Like the vegetable garden that`s right over there,
we`re peas of a pod close together.
I`m trying to tell you dear how much I care,
and I always will love you forever.

this poem is dedicated to my brother, Jack.

Valentines.

Such a beautiful day.
Hand in hand,
Lovers walk
Under the light of the silver moon.

And, me, I’m sitting here,
Missing you.

Missing your gentle touch,
Missing your sweet smell,
Missing your fuzzy hair.

Sometimes, on valentines,
I pass by your grave and
I put 4 roses.

One for the smile you always had,

Two for the kindness you always shown me,

Three for the friendship we had.

And the last one is to tell you
That even if you passed away,
my love for you would never drift away.

All around I can feel it,
What have you done to me?
Seems I live each day for you,
Just to look into me.
I was floating in this emptiness,
Then you pulled me back to my life.
I was wandering full of loneliness,
Alone in dealing with this strife.
Now I am healthy and in love,
With the greatest man in the world.
I now have someone to lean on,
And help me through this turmoil.
The void has now been filled,
And there is meaning in 'Love' again.
What would I have done with out you?
Where would my life had been?
You have been my salvation,
And for that, I give you my heart.
May you take it and keep it forever,
And our soul's never grow apart.

I wrote this one today..while detention..while thinking about a guy i like...

The key to my heart

It hurts to think of you,
When I know you’re not there,

Because I know you can’t be near.

It hurts to hear from you

Because I truly do care.

On this special day,
I want to hold you tight,
To cuddle and to kiss you
In the candlelight.

To show you my love.

I want to give myself to you,

This card is deep its words mearly pure.
But is it what I'm dreaming or my true feelings for you.
Do the words linger deep inside your head.
Do they put you to bed wondering if its what I really want or something I just said.....
Maybe its just a cheap card I paid no attention to.
Selected only by price rather than Just for you.
So you read it once again to try to understand.

is our love meant to be
does it fade like fresh flowers
running through your head
consumed for several hours
desiring that gentle touch
longing for your soft kiss
will this ever happen
maybe its just the fantasy
I'm after.
Inspired by your beauty
