well, i am extremely picky about my writing utensil. I, if i have a choice, cannot write with pencil, it bugs me to have nasty eraser marks all over my paper, I'd rather just scratch it out and start again. I also need black or blue ink, no weird pinks or greens for me. There is this one pen in my house that smears, and i cannot stand pens the smear. I also know which pens I like and which pens I cannot stand. I am not, however, picky about the kinda paper use. In fact, i write most of my hikaus on napkins (this is probably due to the fact that I am eating breakfast when I read the paper((our paper has a weekly hikau contest, and I like to look at the winner and see if I am inspired enough to write for next weeks topic.))) sorry bout the total parenthetical overkill there. Grin

Oh but they all did last year because I happen to have some MAJOR authority issues and like to argue. So the only teacher that will like me is gonna be my English teacher who also happens to be my speech and debate coach. Lol

Well I think we all have our quirks

I walk on furniture sometimes lol but not when writing, tends to make it difficult (oh that sounded way weird) Tongue

I voice ideas out loud sometimes... and (for stories I write) I tend to 'become the character' slightly,like I'll speak the way they do or my mannerisms will be like theirs, sometimes this lasts for a while even when I go out lol so don't worry. If you do this kind of thing a lot in other areas of your life (if it impacts on your life) you may have ocpd but most people have little odd things they do anyway.

I'm not really picky on what I use to write, but I usually have a certain pen I'll use until it dies out, but I'll still keep it. I'm sort of obsessed with pens. I hate pencils. I don't know why, I just really do. They just seem too... I don't know, unnatural I guess? Like, I like messing up my books with all my crossed out words and stuff. (My teacher really doesn't, though Tongue

)
I ask my mom to buy me a new notebook almost once every two weeks, because I like the new fresh paper. It just looks and smells nice. (Oh wow, yeah, you're definitely not the only weird one, haha!) Embarrassed

But the thing is, I only use notebooks for poems, because writing my stories I usually tend to get really carried away, and then my hand cramps up, and when my hand cramps up, my hand gets lazy, and my writing gets really messy, and sometimes my handwriting is even illegible even to me Tongue

You wouldn't believe how many tiny scraps of paper litter the floor of my studio. And it's not just the floor. My desktop, my drawers, some sticky notes on the wall........................ .........It's that bad.

Oh yes.......... pens are better than pencils..........
I talk to myself all the time..... But the weird thing is, I respond. I ask, "Why did you write that? That's not the right word!" Then I say,
" I bet you couldn't do any better." And then I make a whole conversation out of it. I guess I argue with myself a lot. And I whistle really loudly when I get excited. Embarrassed

Oh well. Good times, poets. Goooood times.
