Michal Guest	Which newspapers publish poems submitted by new poets? Feb 27^th, 2010, 9:30pm Hi, does someone knows which newspapers publish poems submitted by new poets, and if the process requires an agent or the poet himself can submit his work?

I know the Philadelphia Inquirer publishes (had one of mine in a couple years ago), and it doesn't require an agent or anything.

Other than that, though, I'm not sure which papers publish, and I don't know if you're even anywhere near Philly..

Reply #3 - Apr 11^th, 2010, 12:22pm Nahh...it's just a way to get young writer's published ... even if nobody really reads it (though when I did, I got a card from some woman in the Philly area who read my poem, and liked it so much she felt the need to contact me and tell me.)
